Buzz Aldrin Hands

Commemoration
Adoring fans

In 2012, the second man to walk on the moon - Buzz Aldrin - greeted adoring fans in Carnarvon to open the Carnarvon Space and Technology Museum. While there, this legendary space pioneer was invited to make this hand cast as a memento of his visit. This was a continuation of a tradition that started in the 1960s with other visiting astronauts.
