This silver tea set was branded in tribute to the first Goomalling sports car race in 1949, the Goomalling Classic Racers. The race closed the streets, and patrons were advised to view at their own risk, and to keep their dogs tied up at home. The races were held between 1949 and 1955 in honour of men who lost their lives during the war and raised funds for the construction of the War Memorial Swimming Pool.
