This book was not for people to write down their complaints. It was to record the details of complainants appearing in court, in Kanowna. The books, including court records and letters from 1888, 1896 and the early 1900s were only recently uncovered. Kanowna is now a ghost town but can still be visited, approximately 20 kilometres east of Kalgoorlie.
